Waitlist privacy

Updated 12 September 2026.

When you join, Key Dial collects your email address and the platforms you select. We use them to manage interest in the beta and send relevant beta and release updates. Joining does not create a paid account.

Services we use

Cloudflare hosts the website and stores your email address, platform preferences, and confirmation status in its D1 database. Cloudflare Turnstile checks signup requests for automated abuse and processes network information, including your IP address. Resend delivers confirmation and update emails. We also check earlier Resend contact records to respect existing opt-outs. We do not sell the waitlist.

Confirmation and retention

You receive updates only after confirming your email address. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Expired pending requests are eligible for removal one day later and are removed during subsequent signup activity or maintenance. Confirmed details remain while you want updates or until the waitlist is closed. Email providers may retain delivery logs under their own retention policies.

Your choices

The confirmation email includes a link to cancel your request or unsubscribe. The link opens a page where you explicitly confirm your choice. Unsubscribing removes your email address and platform preferences from our active waitlist database. We retain a keyed fingerprint of your address and the opt-out status to prevent further signup emails.

Our abuse controls store keyed fingerprints of email addresses and IP addresses rather than raw IP addresses. Expired rate-limit records are removed during signup activity or maintenance. Update emails will include an unsubscribe link.

Local app use

The waitlist is separate from device pairing. This page describes the website signup, not a final privacy statement for a released app. Beta invitations will explain any additional information requested for testing.
